Three years ago as a college student at UCO, I had an idea to start a Magazine for College students. A magazine that was “cool”, that would pertain to students on a local level, and cover topics that were fun and interesting. Since we are a generation that has grown up with the internet, Xbox, and cell phones, I knew that it would need to be a high quality, full color piece. I spent months in careful planning and comprising a team of designers, photographers, writers, printing companies, etc. September 2007 CollegeCrowd Magazine was born.

In the Two years since the Magazine premiered it has been a crazy ride. The magazine has grown in leaps and bounds. Every month I’ve added pages to the magazine, or printed more copies; worked with new businesses and hosted awesome events. As this snowball keeps rolling and gets bigger it’s now time for the next step!

CollegeCrowd Magazine has been so successful and grown so fast that it has now evolved into Oklahoma’s hottest new young adult publication called So6ix Magazine.
Printing 100,000 copies in August and saturating the Stillwater, Edmond, Oklahoma City, Moore, and Norman Markets; So6ix Magazine will be among one of the biggest publications in Oklahoma and will release 13 issues a year, host several events every year, and bring you the coolest magazine in Oklahoma.
